Statute of Limitations For Workman’s Compensation

Statute of Limitations For Workman’s Compensation

Mr. Dugan calls in concerning statues of limitations for workmen’s’ compensation.
He is advised that there are conditions to determining how much time could pass before the limitations are reached.

If payment (specifically medical payments) has already begun for workmen’s compensation, then the payments should continue as long as there is a medical claim at least once every year.

The amount of time between the injury and the time limit to initiate a workmen’s compensation claim was not discussed.
