Attorney Abbie R. Brown
Abbie R. Brown was born and raised in Concord, GA. In 2002, she graduated cum laude from Mercer University with a B.A. in Christianity and a minor in History. While at Mercer, Abbie was the recipient of a HOPE Scholarship, a Baptist Heritage Scholarship, and an Academic Scholarship. From 2004-2007, Abbie attended Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law where she was awarded the prestigious Jesse Mercer Scholarship. Abbie is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
Prior to joining Reynolds, Horne & Survant, Abbie worked as a contractor in the Civil and Criminal Divisions of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Georgia. Additionally, she was employed in the legal department of a multinational, financial technology corporation reviewing contracts and other legal documents. Abbie also enjoys teaching in the Legal Studies Department at Southern Crescent Technical College in an adjunct capacity.
Abbie concentrates on lien resolution and works to protect client settlements from various lienholders including Medicare, FEHBA, and ERISA health plans.
